Installed successfully at sites around the world, including the 2013 Paris Marathon and London 2012 Olympic Games, the Pavegen flooring tiles are also able to collect, monitor and communicate live data using its unique API wireless interface. The software can calculate the amount of power generated and the number of footsteps on each tile, as well as control energy efficient lighting and send out live updates via social media channels. The highly engaging off grid technology has the ability to transform smart cities of the future, by providing a low-carbon energy contribution and real-time data analytics in high footfall areas.
