WHAT IS GOODNET

Goodnet connects people around the world with opportunities for doing good - it’s that simple. Since Shari Arison founded Goodnet in 2011, our writers and editors have eyes and ears across the world of good doing - from volunteering, charity work, microfunding and creativity to green tech, water conservation, collaborative consumption and mindful living. It’s a network that empowers users to independently take positive action and amplify their goodness - anytime, anywhere and in the field of interest closest to their hearts.

THE PHILOSOPHY

Doing good is a state of mind that can accompany every action and shine through every thought. Doing good starts from within, so even the smallest smile can change something in your life and make a difference in the reality of the people around you. Ultimately, we believe that a critical mass of people who want good, think good, speak good and do good can generate positive transformation in the world. Sounds good, right?

To activate people’s goodness, Goodnet shares content to engage good doers with the many wonderful ventures on the web. In turn, you can pass it on, raise public awareness and get involved.

She founded Goodnet.org in 2011 as a digital gateway that inspires people to do good, and is committed to showing that positive change is possible in all aspects of life. Shari Arison views the potential and ability to influence as a unique privilege and a profound responsibility.

Alberto has been working with the Ted Arison Family Foundation for over 10 years, using his digital prowess to create purposeful products for various nonprofits. Since joining Goodnet’s team two years ago, he has helped develop the site, adding features such as the Good Gallery and revamping the design.
