World View of Global Warming

World View of Global Warming, which began 11 years ago in Antarctica, is the only dedicated climate change science and response documentation project independently undertaken by a photojournalist. It is funded by donations, grants, image and book sales and assignments; donations and grants are accepted as tax-deductible contributions through Blue Earth Alliance which passes through 96 percent of all funds.

The Solar Foundation is an independent national 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to demonstrate the global benefits of solar energy through research and education. Founded in 1977 and based in Washington, DC, we are increasing the widespread adoption of solar energy and transforming the marketplace through our coordinated public education & outreach efforts, high-level data collection, and innovative research. 

Solar Energy International

Since 1991, Solar Energy International has provided hands-on nonprofit renewable energy education and interactive online solar training for over 20,000 students from more than 60 countries. Solar Energy International offers online and in-person workshops in English and Spanish. With 22 IREC ISPQ-Credentialed Certified Trainers and 26 NABCEP Certified Solar Installers - more than any other solar training organization - SEI's experienced training team is on the forefront of renewable energy education.

Brooklyn Brainery is accessible, community-driven, crowdsourced education. We host cheap classes on anything and everything.

Unglue.it

Unglue.It is a service provided by Gluejar, Inc. It's a place for individuals and institutions to join together to liberate specific ebooks and other types of digital content by paying rights holders to relicense their works under Creative Commons licenses.

Each Learning Playlist can be rated, bringing the best ways to learn to the top of the charts.

General Assembly

We’ve created a multi-faceted campus to serve the needs of high-potential entrepreneurs and advance the startup ecosystem in New York. Our community not only has a place in which to collaborate, but also take advantage of a new kind of learning-by-doing. Dabble is a marketplace for $20 classes. Inspired by the notion that learning and exploring one's interests should be easy (and fun!), Dabble provides a low-commitment way for people to expand their horizons. Anyone is invited to teach. Classes range from culinary to art to business and everything in between. All classes are held in person, providing a great way to meet new people.
