The holidays are a magical time. The world is covered in snow (at least on the northern hemisphere), a special energy of kindness is in the air and children everywhere are getting excited over the presents they might get.
One anonymous good samartian in the city of Fort Collins, Colorado, has gone above and beyond to make sure that truly every child, no matter their family's economic situation, will be able to call a new toy their own this Christmas.
For the last decade, this mysterious philanthropist has bought up the entire children's section of the local Goodwill store, to make sure that every kid coming in that day will take home a free gift.
According to the Coloradoan, the family responsible for this amazing gift says they don't need recognition for their good deed and that this day has become an important part of their yearly Christmas tradition.
Prior to the holiday event, the Goodwill store set aside lots of children’s books, toys, and stuffed animals to ensure that there would be enough goodies for all their little customers. As kids excitedly swarmed around plastic bins overflowing with toys, the generous donors briefly watched their joyous reactions before before "slipping out the front door, unnoticed."
This year, the family even recruited several local Fort Collins businesses to add to the donation and make sure that every child in the city will have a happy Christmas.
If past years have been any indication, this wonderful tradition will continue for quite some time and bring a smile to the faces of thousands more children.
