If you are a big TikTok fan, you probably have seen recipes that feature cottage cheese. That’s because cottage cheese is a hot new trend on social media.

Cottage cheese has not had the best reputation. Considered bland and boring, this healthy, nutritious, and high protein dairy product is finally getting the reputation it always deserved, according to RealSimple. In fact, a cup of cottage cheese contains 25 grams of protein and is extremely versatile.

From delicious pancakes to soup, there are a myriad of delicious recipes on social media. Here are five trending ones.

Cottage Cheese Lasagna
Lasagna is a favorite food on many pasta lover’s plates. People love digging into layers of rich cheese, tomato sauce, meat, and pasta. Here’s one super easy and healthy version from the oh snap MACROS blog. You will need oven ready lasagna noodles, marinara sauce, small curd cottage cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, lean ground beef, spinach, and seasonings. Leave out the meat and add extra veggies for a vegetarian version.

Tortilla Baked Eggs
If you are looking for a hearty and filling breakfast, then this recipe from the Dairy Farmers of Canada is perfect for you. All you need is one large tortilla, four large eggs, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese,  (strained), cherry tomatoes, baby spinach and then salt and pepper to taste. Cottage Cheese Flatbread
Flatbreads – one of the oldest forms of bread – are very easy to prepare and it is easy to see why this recipe from Better Homes & Gardens is trending on social media. In India, people eat dosa, and in Italy people eat necci that is made of chestnut flour, but now you can eat flatbread that is made with cottage cheese. No party is complete without a dip and here is one from RealSimple that is sure to please. You can make almost any type of creamy dip like onion by substituting cottage cheese that has been blended smooth for sour cream or cream cheese. TikTok user @joeywellness makes a healthy version of artichoke dip using cottage cheese, artichoke hearts, garlic, tahini, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Viral Cottage Cheese Wrap
This high-protein cottage cheese wrap has gone viral on social media according to the Something Nutritious blog. The recipe is super simple to make and uses cottage cheese, one egg, and seasoning that is blended together and then baked.
