Summer is the time to travel and there are so many exciting places to visit. Instead of going to a popular resort, why don't you visit one of the New Seven World Wonders? These places showcase mankind's creativity and vision.
In 2,000, there was a campaign that started to choose the new wonders from a list of 200 existing monuments led by Canadian-Swiss Bernard Weber that was organized by the New7Wonders Foundation in Zurich, Switzerland. More than 100 million votes were cast online or by telephone in what was the largest poll ever. The winners were announced on July 7, 2007, and have inspired and amazed people ever since.
