Of great value to other countries around the world are issues ranging from safety and housing to jobs, income and health. This beautiful map from Movehub presents data gathered from tens of thousands of participants around the world, to show what matters most to the people of the world.

The data has been collected on an ongoing basis since 2011 by the OECD Better Life Index, a platform on which participants share their views on what makes for a better life.
While the map shows some clear patterns - such as an emphasis on education in South America and health and life satisfaction in developed nations - there are also a few surprises to be found.
