Kevin Bacon is well known for his illustrious acting career, and as one of the most well-connected men in Hollywood.
Jumping into character as a goofy salesman, Bacon is the face of the new campaign Shift Your Shopping – an effort to support local businesses and global charities. Through December 24, over 160 independent businesses in the United States and Canada will give a portion of each purchase to the buyer’s charity of choice.
In a joint effort by 6 Degrees.Org (Kevin Bacon’s nonprofit), Amiba, Balle and Causetown, the Shift Your Shopping campaign is advancing the importance of buying local while also spreading cheer to charities that people care about.
