Jen Hamilton, a nurse and mother of two, created Hot Mess Express in 2021 after realizing how many women, particularly moms, were struggling to manage their homes due to life’s many pressures. The organization's mission is clear: to offer support, not only through cleaning but also through kindness, camaraderie, and empowerment. By sharing her journey on TikTok, Jen has been able to reach a wide audience, expanding Hot Mess Express into a nationwide initiative.
“I’m a mom that suffered through a lot of post -partum depression, especially after having my son and I just didn’t want to live. You know it felt really hard and all these chores were piling up and made it even harder to want to exist and so I wish I had someone that just came in and just said-- don’t worry about those dishes, we’ll get it for you,” Brandy Hall, the Chaos Coordinator for Hot Mess Express, told Fox News.

So many times I hear people talk about needing friends and someone to talk to, and they find that in our community,” Izzy Crislip, Hot Mess Express coordinator, told Cleveland.com.
