Here’s How to Connect with Anyone in Just 4 Minutes [VIDEO]
A classic love experiment put to the test.
In 1997, Dr. Arthur Aron, a professor of Psychology at Stony Brook University, famously created love in a lab. As part of his study, a man and woman sat opposite each other and answered a series of 36 increasingly personal questions. Then they stared silently into each other’s eyes for four minutes. Six months later, the two participants were married.
Since then, many have recreated some or all of Aron’s experiment to see if the same result could be achieved. One of these experiments was carried out by love expert and author, Mandy Len Canton, who wrote about the experience in her essay, “To Fall in Love with Anyone, Do This.” It was this essay that inspired SoulPancake to also give it a shot.
This mesmerizing video shows what happens when strangers, couples, boyfriends and girlfriends, husbands and wives do nothing but stare at each other in silence for four minutes. See for yourself!
