Officevibe is cracking the code on how to make employees happy, productive and satisfied at work. They have created a game which is an all-in-one engagement platform that aims to increase employee retention, decrease turnover, recognize employees for their hard work and maximize productivity. The game is comprised of weekly missions and each employee has a set of five to ten activities that are meant to improve their workdays. The Officevibe team has recognized five areas that will enhance company and employee satisfaction with each of the activities falling into the categories of either: wellness, productivity, social, environment and generosity.
Each user receives their missions at the beginning of the week and may be asked to choose water over cola, say good morning to a colleague, rate their past workday, eat away from their desk or use a reusable mug. In true game fashion, every mission is worth points and as colleagues play, they can see one another’s progress on the leaderboard, and can even comment or give them a high-five for a job well done. Taking it a step further, managers or HR personnel can customize missions and activities and as well as congratulate workers. Anyone can play for free, and after their trial ends they can either upgrade for a price or continue with the free plan. Considering that eight out of ten employees are stressed at work, Officevibe is looking to turn those statistics around by inserting a bit of fun and meaning to the 9 to 5 work week.
