This touching video shows a day in the life of Muharrem - a likeable, hearing impaired man from Istanbul. But this is no ordinary day. Unbeknown to Muharrem, his whole neighborhood has learned sign language, so that he can experience what it’s like to have a day free of barriers and limitations.

Samsung Turkey planned and executed the heart-warming stunt to promote a new video call center for people with hearing problems. With the cooperation of dozens of neighbors and staff - and lots of hidden cameras - the resulting video is just lovely.
As Muharrem goes about his day in Istanbul, accompanied by his sister who’s in on the scheme, something seems a bit different. One by one, every person he encounters communicates with him in sign language. When he finally realizes what’s going on, his response is priceless.
