Made for Valentine’s Day, the clip opens to a group of passersby gathered around a large screen. With faces of confusion, the crowd sees illuminated skeletons dancing, hugging and kissing. The first skeleton pair to step out from behind the screen is a lesbian couple. They come before a cheering crowd and stand next to a beaming sign that says Love Has No Gender. The video continues showing couples from different races, friends from diverse religious groups and an adorable sister duo who stand under the sign Love Has No Disability.
The powerful campaign is a way to draw attention to discrimination and the idea of implicit biases - when people unintentionally discriminate due to deep seated subconscious beliefs.
Love Has No Labels strikes the perfect tone, spreading awareness and highlighting the indelible bond that unites all humans – love.
