Mentoria Hutchinson loves her job. The 62-year old New York native has been directing traffic on the bustling Manhattan streets for more than thirty-three years. With all the honking, frayed nerves and reckless taxi drivers, Hutchinson's secret to thriving at work is dancing. After being hit twice by a car on the job, Hutchinson started dancing as a way to maintain her confidence and deal with the fear. With a little bit of shaking and shimmying, the veteran traffic cop keeps herself and those around her happy, and makes the streets of New York a safer and groovier place to be.
