A gesture of gratitude in the wake of Typhoon Yolanda
Three months ago, Typhoon Yolanda hit the country of the Philippines with massive force, leaving in her wake tons of damage, injury and loss of human life. Despite the trauma, the southeastern Asian country is pulling up its sleeves and getting to work to rebuild. In an act of gratitude, the Filipino tourism department began a viral campaign of saying thank you to the world for their assistance during this trying time, and encouraged Filipinos to post their own thank yous over various social media networks with the hashtag #PHthankyou. This heartwarming video shows resilience and a strong spirit which is made even more powerful by two simple words - thank you.
