Sometimes a moment of inspiration can come from the most unlikely of places, including Thai commercials for telecom and insurance companies. From random acts of kindness, to the power of human touch to pure compassion and empathy, recent ads hailing from the Southeast Asian country have been tugging at people's heartstrings with their emotive uplifting messages. This latest viral offering from Thai Life Insurance Company is no exception. Titled “Street Concert” it features a young Thai boy named Nut who continues to play his out-of-tune guitar and sing off-key much to the bemusement of his classmates. One day everything changes when a couple of boys from Nut's school see him busking on the street. When they realize the very touching reason he is collecting the money, the boys instantly change their tune and instead of mocking Nut, decide to join him and help him with his very important cause. The simple act of coming together to make music has a very powerful effect in this short tale of hope, and you will be moved when you find out the motivation behind Nut’s music.
