On March 9 from 11am – 2pm, Good Deeds Day kickoff takes over Manhattan with some cool events and free giveaways. This annual celebration of good deeds is based on the simple idea that every person can do something good for the benefit of others, be it large or small.
Times Square will be alive and kicking with good doing activities; you can make live Good Deeds Day pledges or discover your good doer style! See yourself larger than life as your good doing activities are screened on the Times Square mega screen for all of Manhattan to see! And if that were not enough, quality nonprofit organizations such as Jumpstart, Habitat for Humanity NYC and others will take part in the Good Deeds Day fair, on hand for you to get involved in your community.
