Good news: the biggest company in the world is going solar.
According to Apple’s Environmental Update, its new data center in Maiden, North Carolina, will include a huge field of solar array that measures 100 acres. When finished, the plant will generate provide more than 40 million kWh of 24x7 baseload renewable energy annually.
