His name is Kid President and he is quite possibly one of the cutest, funniest kids around on the Internet. As well as being adorable, Kid President, who is played by 11-year-old Robby Novak, gives voice to creative young people who want to make this world a better place through his hilarious and often poignant video messages. These words of wisdom are part of SoulPancake's project that celebrates social and political involvement by anyone who cares. Back in October, Kid President decided to rename the tenth month of the year Socktober. The reason behind this random move: an online challenge to get one million people to perform a small act of kindness towards the homeless. That particular challenge may be over, but the messages of doing kind deeds for others and using the Internet for good are relevant to all of us all year round.
