Can you imagine a life without music? Probably not. Music has existed in all cultures throughout history, and even has proven effects on the human body - triggering release of the feel good neurotransmitter dopamine. Lately, a number of adorable videos have featured parents and kids making music together. These seven videos show the bond of melody and joint collaboration, and illustrate how music can relate to anyone - transcending age, language and gender.
1. FATHER AND KIDS DO DEPECHE MODE
Using kazoos, soda bottles and wind chimes , DMK is a father-kid Depeche Mode cover band. Comprising of dad Dicken, daughter Milah (age 10) and son Korben (age 7) the Bogota, Colombia- based musical group adds creativity and joy to the classic Depeche Mode song Everything Counts. The best part is the end where, after flawless execution, dad Dicken is overwhelmed by the talent of his two lovely children.
2. HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS
Alexa and Jorge Narvaez jumped to YouTube stardom three years ago with their cover of Home. With over 28 million views, the father-daughter duo caught the attention of American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and comedian Ellen Degeneres - last year the duo debuted on the TV show America’s Got Talent.
3. GROOVING TWINS
The incredible, mysterious and oh-so-charming bond of twins is on full display in this amazingly adorable clip. Check out the identical babies getting groovy together to the sound of their father playing the guitar.
4. MUSICAL DIVERSIONS
Can't sleep? You need a father like this!
When his adorable four-year-old girl couldn't sleep because she thought she could hear fireworks, this sweet dad created a musical diversion by singing the classic tune of Tonight You Belong to Me.
5. THE MELODIC MORNING CARPOOL
Driving to school can be a mundane task, but not with this father of three. The family jams and rocks out to the classic song Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. If they’re in luck, they can usually start the song as they pull out of the driveway and finish with a grand finale as they arrive to school. What a great way to start the day!

7. A BABY MOVED TO TEARS
The power of music is expertly captured in this video where a ten-month old baby wells up with emotion as her mother sings to her. Apparently her mother’s touching rendition of My Heart Can’t Tell You No is the only song that elicits this sweet and heartrending reaction.
