Prepare the rainbow flags because June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month. In honor of the LGBT community here are 7 videos that celebrate tolerance, respect, justice, courage, dignity and most importantly, love.

1. IT'S TIME

This advert for Australia's GetUp! community advocacy organization starts off with a young man smiling at an unseen person behind the camera; and the viewer watches as their relationship grows. The beautiful video has a fairy tale ending, showing the enduring power of love.

 

2. SAME LOVE LESBIAN MARRIAGE PROPOSAL

When Danielle Renae decided to propose to her girlfriend Michelle, she wanted to make it special. That's why she enlisted the help of musicians Macklemore & Ryan Lewis to help her plan a surprise proposal live on stage during one of their concerts. Watch the crowd go wild when they realize what’s going on.

 

3. ELLEN COMMENDS PRESIDENT OBAMA

Talk show host Ellen Degeneres can't hide her emotion in this heartfelt thank you to President Barack Obama for his words of support on marriage equality. Her audience is very quick to identify with what she is saying and ends up joining her for an emotional standing ovation.

4. TWO LESBIANS RAISE A SON AND THIS IS THE OUTCOME

Brave 19-year-old Zach Wahls, who was raised by lesbian mothers, touched the hearts of millions of people in this viral video that shows his plea for gay marriage equality. We watch as the University of Iowa student speaks at a public forum to oppose a House Joint Resolution that would ban gay marriage and civil unions."I’m an Eagle Scout. I own and operate my own small business," Zach says during his impassioned speech. "If I was your son, Mr. Chairman, I believe I’d make you very proud."

5. HOMECOMING

This short film begins with a familiar scene - loved ones waiting for their partners returning from military service. It soon focuses on one particular soldier who spots his boyfriend and is seen lovingly embracing him before a romantic marriage proposal. Produced by the Coalition for Equal Marriage, a British marriage equality advocacy group, the tagline reads: "All men can be heroes. All men can be husbands."
