A New York Times story features a series of love letters written by famous New York luminaries, such as Mark Twain, Zero Mostel, Katharine Hepburn and Alexander Hamilton, to name a few. The originals, all personal artifacts, are displayed in various locations around town.
All love letters are heart-wrenching, but possibly the sweetest endeavor is that of E.E. Cummings: a crayon drawing he sent to model and photographer Marion Morehouse (image displayed).
