S’mores the quintessential summer campfire treat, is now becoming an anytime, anywhere dessert. That’s right, you can make this combination of chocolate, melted marshmallows, and graham crackers in your own kitchen.

You can toast marshmallows – regular or vegan – with a gas stove, in your oven, or even in your microwave, according to Pioneer Woman. You can also get creative with the ingredients and add fruit, substitute cookies for the graham crackers, as well as make s’mores inspired desserts like bars or pies. Here are five s’mores recipes to make in your kitchen anytime of the year.

Microwave S’mores

It’s super simple to make s’mores in your microwave according to the Hersheyland website. All you need are the three classic ingredients, a Hershey’s chocolate bar, or any other brand, full size marshmallows, and graham crackers. The marshmallows puff up in the microwave but shrink down after nuking. Microwave at 50 percent to soften the chocolate and marshmallows and serve immediately. Close your eyes and you can almost smell the charcoal.

Banana Boat S’mores

This recipe from the Neighbor Food blog adds fruit to the mix. You will need unpeeled bananas, one for each serving, chocolate chips, and of course, mini marshmallows. Just make a slit in the banana and stuff it with the chocolate and marshmallows, wrap in foil, and bake. This recipe can also be made on an outdoor grill. You better make some extras because your kids will be begging for more.

Nutella S’mores

You swap chocolate with Nutella – or any other spread – with this recipe from Food.com that is broiled in your oven. You will need a spread, graham crackers,  and either large or small marshmallows. You construct each s’more by breaking each cracker in half, spreading with Nutella, add a marshmallow or nine minis, broil till brown, top with the other half of the cracker and serve. It’s that easy.

S’mores in a Cup

Hersheyland brings you this delicious recipe for s’mores in a cup. You will need crumbled graham crackers, miniature marshmallows, milk chocolate, and a microwave safe bowl to make this s’mores inspired dessert. It just takes mere minutes to prepare and cook.
