Husband and wife team Walter and Margaux Kent are the masterminds behind Peg and Awl, the online store that sells refurbished treasures for the home, garden and body built from abandoned materials. Their modern homemade items are an ode to the past— using reclaimed materials ranging from wood to leather, with some of the wood even dating back to the 1800s.
While originally creating items for their home, their rustic yet progressive design style piqued the interest of friends and prospective buyers. Turning hobby into business, the Kents first launched a store on Etsy.
The creative duo, who is based in Philadelphia, PA with their two sons, focuses on finding used treasures and making them for you and yours. [Source: Peg and Awl]
