Aiming to improve the boost the numbers and influence of female techies, Girls Who Code was founded with a mission to close the gender gap in the technology sector. The organization provides young adults with education alongside mentorship by top-tier female engineers and executives in technology. Girls Who Code are especially interested in those who naturally have less access to technological knowledge.
Founded by Reshma Saujani, the organization has masterminded a new education model, complete with all elements of practical technological tools, including web design, mobile app development and robotics.
