Let it Ripple: Mobile Films for Global Change is a series of short films created by two mega-powerful channels: the first is Tiffany Shlain, filmmaker and founder of the Webby Awards, who is the mastermind of Let it Ripple. The other is Cloud Filmmaking, which means creating films in a collaborative, digitally-networked effort.
Let it Ripple's films are available for nonprofit organizations for free, and they can be customized so as to include the nonprofit's logo and message. The aim is to enable the films for marketing and advocacy tools that create engagement.
The first film in the series, A Declaration of Interdependence, is a powerful collection of user-generated clips crowdsourced from people all over the world. Three other films are in various stages of production.
