You are just about to eat a delicious meal, but before you stick your fork in - you stop, grab your phone and snap a picture of your food, later uploading the photo to Instagram. Does this sound familiar?
Food pictures are immensely viral and addictive, since people all over the world from
different cultures, nations, religions and political affiliations - find meaning in food.
The Spanish nonprofit Manos Unidas understands the power of food, and created
#FoodShareFilter, a new app that aims to fight hunger. An instagram filter,
FoodShareFilter offers an innovative way to give: a portion of the app fee is donated to
those in need.
Available on Apple Store and Google Play, this giving app lets you share your food, but
for real. [Source: #FoodShareFilter]
