The wonderful world of DIY (Do It Yourself) is one trend that we can really get on board with. By doing things ourselves, we reuse and recycle materials that would otherwise be thrown away. We also get in touch with a new and craftier side of ourselves, while supporting small businesses along the way.
When we use handy, local, and many times free materials, we take ownership over a product’s lifecycle and significantly minimize the environmental hazards of purchasing newly manufactured products, such as natural resource extraction and pollution.
