1. POLAR BEARS

DID YOU KNOW: Polar bears tend to overheat more than to be cold and have thicker fur than any other bears.

2. DOLPHINS

DID YOU KNOW: Dolphins don’t have a sense of smell but their eyesight both in and out of the water is very acute. They can also hear frequencies 10 times the limit of adult humans.

3. Chimpanzees

DID YOU KNOW: Chimps are a close cousin to humans and share 95 to 98 percent of the same DNA. Like people, they also laugh when they play.

4. PELICANS

DID YOU KNOW: Pelicans have been around for a long time with fossil evidence dating back to at least 30 million years.

5. JELLYFISH

DID YOU KNOW: Jellyfish have no brain, blood, or nervous system.

6. CHEETAHS

DID YOU KNOW: This cat is the fastest land animal in the world and can run up to 113 km/h. In just three seconds, cheetahs can accelerate in speed from 0 to 100 km/h.

7. NARWHAL

DID YOU KNOW: Referred to as the unicorn of the sea, the narwhal tusk is actually an enlarged tooth with sensory capabilities which can grow up to 10 feet long.

8. RHINOCEROS

DID YOU KNOW: A lady rhino’s pregnancy last for 15 to 16 months and their young stay with them till they are around three years old.

9. CHAMELEONS

DID YOU KNOW: Chameleons have a 360-degree arc of vision and can see two directions at once with different eyes.

10. GIRAFFES

DID YOU KNOW: Aside from being the tallest mammal in the world, giraffes only sleep between ten minutes and two hours per day.
