Social Impact is the free global app that uses the GPS feature in a iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to display retail social enterprises closest to you RIGHT NOW, wherever you are.
Many of these businesses are restaurants, coffee shops, catering services, bakeries, and ice cream stores, which create local social impact from every dollar you spend. Other listed businesses are "fair trade" stores or social enterprises with online ordering capabilities.

Esperanza Market

Esperanza Market is an online marketplace that sells bags, purses and yoga bags directly from artisans from the second-poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, Nicaragua. We follow Fair Trade guidelines, which means we pay living wages, not just minimum wages. For each item sold, the market donates a solar-powered lamp to a child in Nicaragua that lives without electricity.

This became the brand Patriot Threads. Brady also has a passion for helping others and was inspired to donate a portion of all sales to charities that support wounded veterans who have sacrificed so much when serving our country.

Amazig Leathers is a for-profit company that has grown out a call for ethical businesses which engage in social entrepreneurship. US offices, located in Knoxville, TN, ship the leather goods imported directly from the North African artisans who craft them. Brandi Jordan, the CEO and founder of Amazig Leathers, is currently finishing her master’s degree in International Development. She has worked in Southeast Asia, Central Africa, and North Africa, where she has learned to respect the legitimacy of craftsmen the world over.

Ethical.market was co-founded in 2013 by London-based husband and wife duo Raquel and Michael, after learning more about the hidden costs of cheap clothing and the terrible toll taken on workers in developing countries. Ethical.market operates with a strict ethos of listing ethical brands who care about the impact of their supply chain and believe in full transparency. Ethical.market provides an alternative for conscious shoppers who don't want to change who they are, just how they shop.

Twins For Peace

Initially, we developed a one for one model: for each pair of TWINS sold, we donated a pair of shoes to a child in need. We produced the donated pair of children’s shoes in the Donation Project country to help the local economy and avoid displacing workers. 

In partnership with SOS ...Enfant, we now donate medical supplies, school tuition, books and supplies to children living in impoverished countries. 
Each time a sneaker is purchased another pair is donated to a child in need.
